Charter School Pledge

As a resident of the City of Albany, I believe passionately that parents, grandparents and/or guardians have the right to choose the best educational opportunity for their children, district, charter, or private.

I strongly oppose a resolution introduced by Council Member Cathy Fahey that would place a "specific limit on enrollment" on public charter schools in Albany.

I urge the Common Council to reject the Fahey resolution or any other proposal that would limit the right of parents and others to choose the best educational opportunity for their boys and girls.
